Tag Archives: Down Syndrome Awareness Month

October is a busy month

Not only is it breast cancer awareness month, but it’s also Down Syndrome Awareness Month, with Buddy Walks taking place all over the country to help fund programs that help parents and families affected by down syndrome. I would encourage you to click on the above link, where you can find out just what Down Syndrome is and how you can help people affected by this diagnosis. If you’d like a more personal look at how down syndrome affects people, I would encourage you to go HERE where a good friend of mine shares the struggles, challenges, and triumphs she faces everyday with her beautiful daughter, who also happens to have down syndrome.

Weekly Vlog for the week of October 10th, 2010

I’m going to try to do one of these per week, so we’ll see how that goes. In today’s video, I talk about the posts coming up this week, along with a preview for next week. I’ve got lots of content already uploaded, just waiting to be published, so make sure you check back often!

All the links for this video can be found in the blogroll to your right.
