I’m leery of using the word rules, mostly because I tend to not follow rules very well, but I felt this needed to be posted since certain individuals can’t seem to play nice when it comes to online interaction. So without further adieu:
1. RESPECT EVERYONE. And I do mean everyone. People who comment, people who don’t comment. The author of the post. Yourself. The topic of the post. I moderate EVERY comment BEFORE it gets published, so please don’t waste my time with rude or disrespectful comments. If it continues to be a problem (as in, several rude comments over a variety of posts) I WILL block you from commenting on my site.
2. If you have a problem with something I’ve said/done, please email me first before going and complaining about it to all of your friends. This isn’t high school, and I AM capable of listening like an adult and trying to resolve the issue. I will listen to your side of the story, and I expect you to do the same, so please keep that in mind. If you feel that the issue hasn’t been resolved, then you have the choice of getting over it or not reading my blog anymore. While I will try to be respectful of other people, I’m not going to change how I write just because it happens to offend you.
